Our organization is trying to work on its vision, long-term strategy and organizational development plan – can you help us?
MSC works with organizations and alliances that anchor their social justice work within a racial justice framework. If you think your organization matches this description, please refer to our Sector Intensive and Organizational Development services and contact one of the staff members listed.

MSC also trains and supports a team of Associates through our Just Consulting Network. Please contact Lisa Russ, our Associate Director, at lisa@movementstrategy.org, if you would like to be connected to an organizational development consultant whose work is grounded in the principles of social and racial justice.

How much do your services cost?

We charge clients on a sliding scale. Please contact program staff directly to find out an estimated cost for your particular proposed work, as our fees for service are determined on a project basis.

Can you help our organization get funding?

Our Field Building program expands the resources available for entire fields of work. Additionally, we provide support to core partner organizations in developing their fundraising strategies.

Who does MSC work with?

MSC works with individuals, organizations, alliances and foundations. Please see our Partners and Clients List for more information.

How does MSC decide who you work with?

We prioritize membership-based organizations working primarily with low-income people of color. We work with organizations in the “justice sectors”, whose issue-specific work is grounded in a broader racial justice analysis. Currently, MSC primarily supports organizations in the sectors of Reproductive Justice, Educational Justice, Media Justice and Environmental Justice.

Through our Field Building program, we also partner with foundations, donor networks and individual funders.

MSC both responds to requests for support and initiates partnerships with organizations whose work reflects our movement building priorities.

Where do you work?

MSC works locally, regionally and nationally. We are experienced with both place-based and issue-based work, including city-wide and state-wide alliances.

How is MSC funded?

MSC is supported by a combination of individual donations, foundation grants and fee for service work offered on a sliding scale.
